Ordering & Customization

How far in advance should I place an order?

Generally, custom orders require at least 1–2 weeks' notice, while standard items can be ordered 24-48 hours ahead. Custom catering for events require a minimum of 3 months notice, but in a pinch can be completed so please reach out.

 

Do you offer custom cakes?

Cancellations:

Cancellations made 72 hours before pickup are eligible for store credit; we cannot refund orders canceled less than 72 hours in advance.

 

Do you offer tastings for events?

Yes, we offer scheduled consultations and tastings for wedding cakes and large events. Tastings require a pre-paid deposit of $100.00 credit with signing of event contract.

Allergens & Ingredients

Are your products allergy-friendly?

While we offer some gluten-free/vegan options, our kitchen is not a certified allergen-free facility, and cross-contamination is possible. Should you have an allergy please alert us in the ordering process and we will try our hardest to not allow cross-contamination to happen.

 

What ingredients do you use?

We use high-quality ingredients like real butter, eggs, and fresh fruits, with no preservatives. We make many items completely from scratch which means using recipes free from box mixes and premade ingredients.

 

Do you have sugar-free items?

We have a limited selection of diabetic-friendly items, but are always willing to modify a recipe to fit our customers dietary restrictions and health requests.

Pickup & Delivery

Do you deliver?

Yes, local delivery is available within a 25-mile radius of Chester, California, with fees based on time and mileage to/from central Chester, California.

 

Where do I pick up my order?

Orders can be picked up at our cottage bakery location, with a dedicated pick-up time and window of 10minutes before and a maximum of 20 minutes after giving customers a 30-minute pick-up window maximum. If this pick-up window is missed, an additional window may be granted but the customer will be charged an additional $50 for the rescheduling inconvenience. Pick-up times are no earlier than 10:00am and no later than 7:00pm.

 

Can I reserve items for pickup?

Yes, you can call us to reserve items, but we request pre-payment for orders over a certain amount (e.g., $25).

Storage & Product Care

What is the best way to store my baked goods?

Items should be kept in a cool, dry place if being immediately served. For long-term storage, we recommend refrigeration or freezing if the product can be frozen.

 

How long do your products stay fresh?

Without preservatives, we recommend consuming our products within 24-48 hours for optimal freshness.

 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and cash. Checks are accepted by local residents and for larger orders.

 

Do you offer wholesale?

Yes, please email us for our wholesale catalog and minimum order quantities.
